First-responders called Saturday for man pinned under overturned tractor

Sunday, July 19, 2015, 5 p.m. — The Northeast Nelson Fire Department, Nelson County EMS and the Nelson County Sheriff’s Office responded Saturday night for a report of a man trapped under an overturned tractor on Campground Road. First-responders were dispatched at 9:10 p.m. to the 800 block of Campground Road where a man was reportedly pinned under his tractor that overturned in a creek bed. While first-responders were en route, the victim’s wife told dispatchers her husband had freed himself from the tractor and he had no need for EMS.
