Obituary: Joseph Charles Redemann, Sr., 88, Lebanon Junction
Joseph Charles Redemann, Sr., 88, of Lebanon Junction, died Tuesday, July 21, 2015, at Jewish-South. He was a baker for Pillsbury, a member of the Resurrection Tiger Club and also a member of St. Benedict Catholic Church.
He was preceded in death by one son, Joseph Charles Redemann, Jr. and his wife, Connie; his parents, Joseph H. and Albina Thornsberry Redemann; and three brothers, Thomas Redemann, Paul Redemann and Vincent Redemann.
Survivors include his loving wife of 67 years, Ida May Nebin Redemann; one daughter, Kathy McMillen; four sons, David Redemann, Larry Redemann, Arthur Redemann and Johnny Redemann; one brother, James Norman Redemann; eight grandchildren; 11 great-grandchildren; and one great-great-grandchild.
The funeral is 11 a.m. July 25, 2015, at St. Benedict Catholic Church in Lebanon Junction. Burial is in the St. Clare Cemetery.
Visitation is 3-8 p.m. Friday, July 24, 2015, after 9 a.m. Saturday at the Kappel Funeral Home in Lebanon Junction with a prayer service 7 p.m. Friday.
Expressions of sympathy may take the form of contributions to the charity of the donor’s choice.
