Obituary: Harold R. ‘Todd’ Starkey, 77, Akron, Ohio
Harold R. “Todd” Starkey, 77, of Akron, Ohio, died unexpectedly, yet peacefully, on Wednesday, July 15, 2015. He was a member of the National Guard and had a career in masonry.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Russell and Madeline Starkey; and his brother, Richard Starkey.
He is survived by one daughter, Shannon (Ian) Richardson; two sons, Scott (LeeAnn) Starkey of Bardstown and Todd (Cindi) Starkey; two stepdaughters, Sherrie Gomes, Lisa Plymire; one sister, Audrey Lucas; seven grandchildren, Elijah, Brandon, Sarah, Simon, Stella, Eliana and Levi; many cousins, including Doris Sullivan and Dale Starkey and many nieces and nephews, including Jon Starkey, who he had a close relationship with; and his best friend, George Bishop.
Visitation is 11 a.m.-1 p.m. Tuesday, July 28, 2015, with the funeral service immediately following at the Hopkins Lawver Funeral Home, 547 Canton Road, Akron, OH 44312.
