Monday, July 27, 2015, 3 p.m. — A grilled pork chop lunch fundraiser and community photo are planned for this Friday, July 31, as friends, family and members of the community support the family of Crystal Rogers’s family as they continue to search for answers about her whereabouts.

Members of the Fraternal Order of Police Old Kentucky Home Lodge 43 will begin grilling pork chops Friday morning and continue throughout the day at Liberty Tax Services, 521 North Third St. Pork chop dinners can be picked up at Liberty Tax Service until about 6 p.m. as well as the Bardstown Wal-Mart until 7 p.m.

Large orders are welcomed from local businesses and industry, with free delivery offered for those orders. The pork chops dinners — including chips — are $6 each. Call Liberty Tax Service to order your lunch, (502) 348-1951. Lunches will be available until about 7 p.m.

The money from the fundraiser will go to the trust fund established for Crystal’s children. The fund has grown to nearly $25,000 through the sale of t-shirts, signs, bracelets and donations.

Later Friday, the community is invited to the Nelson County High School football field for a community photo as a show of support for Crystal’s family. Everyone is asked to wear your “Prayers for Crystal” t-shirt all day in support of Crystal and her family, and then come together at about 7:45 p.m. for the community photo.

T-shirts, bracelets and more information is available by calling Mary Taylor at Liberty Tax Service, (502) 348-1951.
