Obituary: Anthony Tyler Hamilton, 24, Loretto

Anthony Tyler Hamilton, 24, of Loretto, died Wednesday, July 29, 2015, at U of L Hospital. He was born April 16, 1991, in Marion County. He had chosen to be an organ donor.

Survivors include his mother, Carla Mudd Constant; his father, Carlos Hamilton (Carissa); three brothers, Cody Hamilton, Dakota Settles and Kaleb Hamilton, all of Loretto; his grandparents Joe and Barbara Thompson Mudd of Holy Cross and Charles Wheatley and Bonnie Sue Abell Hamilton of Springfield; his great-grandmother, Earnestine Wheatley Hamilton of Springfield; his stepgrandparents, Al and Cathy Hamilton Nally of Loretto; and a number of aunts, uncles and cousins.

The Mass of Christian Burial is 11 a.m. Monday, Aug. 3, 2015, at St. Rose Catholic Church, 868 Loretto Road, Springfield. Burial is in the Holy Rosary Cemetery of Manton. The Rev. Kevin A. McGrath will officiate.

Visitation is 3-8 p.m. Sunday, Aug. 2, 2015, at Mattingly Funeral Home, 195 Holy Cross Road, Loretto, with a prayer service at 5 p.m.

The Mattingly Funeral Home in Loretto is in charge of the arrangements.
