Teen taken to Flaget after collapsing at TNHS back-to-school event

Friday, July 31, 2015, 9 p.m. — Nelson County EMS was called Friday evening to Thomas Nelson High School football field for a teenager with possible heat exhaustion. According to witnesses, a 15-year-old boy was bouncing on an inflatable at the Thomas Nelson High School Back to School event when he became dizzy and slumped against the equipment. EMS transported the teen to Flaget Memorial Hospital for evaluation and treatment.
