Obituary: Mary Theresa Elmore Raley, 79, Shepherdsville
Mary Theresa Elmore Raley, 79, of Shepherdsville, died Thursday, Aug. 6, 2015.
She was a native of Holy Cross and a production line worker for Barton Distillery in Bardstown. She was also a housewife and homemaker.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Frank and Mary Crozier; two sisters, Gondola Miles and Hatti Elmore; and six brothers, Ernest Jackson, J.E. Jackson, Hal Jackson, Raffo Jackson, Donnie Elmore and Lawrence Elmore.
Survivors include her husband, Samuel W. Raley of Shepherdsville; two daughters, Sr. Malia Ann Raley of Lonedell, Mo. and Angela Denise Olson (Jim) of Lebanon Junction; one son, Nicholas “Nick” Raley of Lebanon Junction; two sisters, Geraldine Fogle of Holy Cross and Louise Hicks of Holy Cross; one brother, Estel Elmore of Louisville; and many nieces and nephews.
The funeral is 10 a.m. Monday, Aug. 10, 2015, at St. Aloysius Catholic Church in Shepherdsville with burial in Hebron Cemetery.
Visitation is 1-5 p.m. Sunday, Aug. 9, 2015, with a 5 p.m. prayer service at the Kappel Funeral Home in Lebanon Junction.
