Tuesday, Aug. 11, 2015 — Larry Green, the City of Bardstown’s assistant administrator, presented the council on Aug. 4 with options for changing the revenue mix to fund the city’s general fund. The general fund pays for city services that do not create revenue — street repairs, fire and police protection and recreation. The discussion includes raising existing taxes, creating new taxes, or a combination that will more fairly fund the general fund. Running time, 23 minutes.
