Final performance of Stephen Foster drama set for Saturday night

Wednesday, Aug. 12, 2015 — Nelson County residents have a final chance to see “The Stephen Foster Story” this weekend as the drama association brings the musical’s 57th season to a close.
The drama’s final performance is 8 p.m. Saturday, Aug. 15 at the J. Dan Talbott Amphitheatre at “My Old Kentucky Home State Park.”
Nelson County residents can see the drama for a discounted rate of $10 for adults and $5 for children between the ages of 6 and 12 for residents of Nelson County. Children five and under are free of charge.
The Budweiser “Live at the Park” concert series continues Friday, Aug. 21 with “The Highway Men Live,” a tribute to Willie Nelson, Waylon Jennings, and Johnny Cash.
