Two injured Sunday afternoon in rollover crash on BG Parkway

Sunday, Aug. 16, 2015, 2:28 p.m. — Two women were injured Sunday afternoon in a single-vehicle rollover accident near the 19 mile marker in the westbound lanes of the Bluegrass Parkway. The 2007 Honda left the roadway and rolled over in a ditch. Nelson County EMS, the Bardstown Fire Department and police were dispatched at 1:24 p.m. for the accident with possible rescue of the occupants. EMS transported the women, ages 18 and 45, to Hardin Memorial Hospital in Elizabethtown for evaluation and treatment. Firefighters remained on the scene until the vehicle was removed in order to clean up spilled fluids. They cleared the scene at 2:11 p.m.
