Obituary: Milissa Ann Williams Sparrow, 53, Willisburg
Milissa Ann Williams Sparrow, 53, of Brush Grove Road in Willisburg, died at 7:32 a.m., Wednesday, Aug. 19, 2015, at the Life Care Center in Bardstown. She was born May 9, 1962, in Louisville to Fred and Mary Louise Carter Williams.
She was a 1980 graduate of Nelson County High School and earned a degree as a dental assistant. She was an employee of the North Washington Elementary School.
Survivors include, her husband, Phillip Sparrow; one son, Charles Timothy Sparrow of Willisburg; her parents, Fred and Mary Louise Williams of Cox’s Creek; one sister, Mary Williams (Tim Simpson) of Bardstown; three brothers, Mark Williams and Mike Williams (Angie), both of Cox’s Creek and Marty Williams of Bardstown; one grandson, Timothy Austin Sparrow; and one stepgranddaughter, Autumn Chipley.
The funeral is 1 p.m. Friday, Aug. 21, 2015, at the Carey & Son Funeral Home in Springfield with the Rev. Ken Williams of Shelbyville officiating. Burial is in the High View Cemetery in Chaplin.
Visitation is 4-8 p.m. Thursday, Aug. 20, 2015, at the Carey & Son Funeral Home, 216 East Main Street, Springfield.
Casket bearers will be Mike Williams, Marty Williams, Bruce Case, John Kirsch, Chris Teachey and Justin Boone. Serving as an honorary pallbearer will be Mark Williams.
The Carey & Son Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
