Wednesday, Aug. 19, 2015 — The Tuesday, Aug 18, 2015, regular meeting of the Bardstown Independent Schools board of education. At this meeting, the board voted 4-1 to raise the property tax rate in order to achieve a 4 percent revenue increase. The board also heard from students who attended two summer programs — the Governor’s Scholars Program and the Governor’s School for the Arts.
