Obituary: Greg Allender, 63, New Haven
Greg Allender, 63, of New Haven, died Saturday, August 22, 2015, at Markey Cancer Center at the University of Kentucky Hospital. He was born Nov. 9, 1951, in Bardstown. He was owner and operator of Allender Backhoe Service.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Wesley and Juanita Allender; two sisters, Bonita Dearing and baby Dolores Allender; an infant niece, Sarah Elizabeth Allender; and one nephew, Joe Rogers.
He is survived by his wife, Becky Allender; two sons, Jason (Olivia) Allender and Josh (Marlana) Allender; one sister, Joyce (Gary) Rogers; two brothers, Gary (Jackie) Allender and Randy (Judy) Allender; six grandchildren, Marley Allender, Izaak Allender, Ethan Allender, Anna Allender, Adrian Allender and Chloe Allender; and numerous friends and family.
The ceremonial service is 11 a.m. Thursday, Aug. 27, 2015, at Barlow Funeral Home with Deacon Sam Filiatreau officiating.
Visitation is 1-8 p.m. Wednesday, Aug. 26, 2015, and 9-11 a.m. Thursday at the funeral home with a 7:30 p.m. prayer service Wednesday by the Rev. Ben Brown.
