Obituary: Almo Thomas Thompson, 85, Boston
Almo Thomas Thompson, 85, of Boston, died Thursday, Aug. 27, 2015, at Elizabethtown Nursing and Rehabilitation Center. He was retired as a machinist for Del Monico Foods and was a member of the Shawnee Masonic Lodge #830 F&AM.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Frank and Mollie Wilson Thompson;
one sister, Marie Harrison Embry; and two brothers, Randath Thompson and Alvin Thompson and his wife, Mae.
Survivors include his fiancé , Norma Hagan; four sons, Steve Thompson, Charles Thompson (Melody), Larry Thompson and Tommy Thompson (Donna); five sisters, Catherine Thompson, Cecilia Mills, Christina Burns, Janie Harrison and Rita Jones; one brother, Atlee Thompson; numerous grandchildren and great-grandchildren; and other family including Kenny and Suzy Wolford.
The funeral is 2 p.m. Sunday, Aug. 30, 2015, at the Kappel Funeral Home in Lebanon Junction with the Rev. Mike Rodgers officiating. Burial is in the Lebanon Junction City Cemetery.
Visitation is 4-8 p.m. Saturday, Aug. 29, 2015, and after 10 a.m. Sunday at the funeral home. A Masonic Service is 6:30 p.m. Saturday.
The Kappel Funeral Home in Lebanon Junction is in charge of the arrangements.
