Obituary: Betty Joyce O’Daniel, 75, Lebanon

Betty Joyce O’Daniel, 75, of Lebanon, died Friday, Aug. 28, 2015, at her home. She was born Oct. 30, 1939, in Bardstown. She was a homemaker.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Valdemar Woodrow and Viola Rhodes Bowman; and one son, James Carl “J.C.” Bowman.

Survivors include her husband, James C. O’Daniel of Lebanon; one daughter, Vicky McDowell of Lebanon; three brothers, Robert Bowman of Louisville, Ralph (Betty) Bowman of Woodbridge, Va., and Glenn (Debbie) Bowman of Bardstown; five grandchildren; and seven great-grandchildren.

The funeral is 1 p.m. Monday, Aug. 31, 2015, at the Bosley Funeral Home in Lebanon. Burial is in the Haysville Cemetery.

Visitation is 4-9 p.m. Sunday, Aug. 30, 2015, at the funeral home.

The Bosley Funeral Home in Lebanon is in charge of arrangements.
