Three arrested Thursday following citizen report of possible DUI driver

Thursday, Sept. 3, 2015, 3:45 p.m. — Three people were arrested Thursday following a complaint that of a possible DUI driver Thursday morning.
The arrests followed police following up on a call to told Nelson County Dispatch of a man driving a maroon four-door passenger car in the area of Busy Bee on North Third Street.
When Bardstown Police Officer Kyler Wright attempted stop the vehicle, its driver — identified as Terrance G. Hayes, 36, of Louisville — did not stop. After a short pursuit, the vehicle was stopped near North Third Street and Beall with an assist by Officer Tim Simpson.
Hayes was arrested by Bardstown Police and charged with driving under the influence of alcohol/drugs/etc; fleeing/evading police; no operators license; no insurance; and failure to wear seat belts.
One of Hayes’ passengers — Derrick M. Robinson, 33, of Louisville — was arrested for alcohol intoxication in a public place. A female passenger, Danyl F. Williams. 36, also of Louisville, was arrested on active arrest warrants from Jefferson County District Court.
All three were lodged in the Nelson County Jail.
