Obituary: Henry Jeff Mirick Jr., 80, Bardstown
Henry Jeff Mirick Jr., 80, of Bardstown, died Wednesday, Sept. 9, 2015, at Norton Audubon Hospital in Louisville. He was a native of Pineville and a retired driver for Smith’s Transfer. He was a U.S. Army veteran and a faithful member of the Vine Hill Baptist Church.
He is survived by his wife, Barbara Mirick of Bardstown; one daughter, Londa Boggs (Samuel) of Shepherdsville; four sons, Jeffery Mirick (Jenny) of Bardstown and Edward Mirick (Kathy), Gary Mirick (Tammy) and Christopher Mirick (Debra), all of Louisville; two sisters, Alene Spencer of Phoenix, Ariz. and Lucille Heindereich of Cincinnati; two brothers, Charles Mirick of Cincinnati and Bobby Mirick of Oklahoma City; nine grandchildren; and 10 great-grandchildren.
The funeral is 2 p.m. Saturday, Sept. 12, 2015, at the Vine Hill Baptist Church, 2178 Clermont Road in Shepherdsville with burial to follow at the New Salem Church Cemetery in Deatsville.
Visitation is noon-2 p.m. Saturday at the church.
