Maple Hill neighborhood clean-up set for Saturday, Sunday
Community news
Friday, Sept. 11, 2015 — The Maple Hill neighborhood will be conducting its neighborhood cleanup on Saturday, Sept. 12 and Sunday, Sept. 13, 2015. All neighborhood residents are encouraged to participate.
A large dumpster provided by Nelson County government will be located on the east side of the Broken Tee building on the corner of West Stephen Foster and South Center Street. Residents are asked to place their trash and items inside the dumpster, not outside it.\
On Sunday a neighborhood appreciation cookout is set for 2 p.m. at the Green Chandlery, 112 South Elm Grove. There will be live music, free hotdogs and drinks for everyone to enjoy, so bring a chair and come meet your neighbors. Anyone who would like to bring cookies or cupcakes to share would be greatly appreciated.
The event is sponsored by the Maple Hill Neighborhood Watch. For more information, visit the Maple Hill neighborhood’s Facebook page, facebook.com/MapleHillNeighborhood.
