TAYLOR BROOKE ‘TAY’ MARTIN
Taylor Brooke “Tay” Martin, 17, of Boston, died Thursday, Sept. 10, 2015. She was born April 17, 1998, in Elizabethtown. She was a senior at Thomas Nelson High School, a member of Thomas Nelson High School Lady Generals Soccer Team and the Atletico Flames Club Soccer Team in Elizabethtown. She worked at Keystone Cinemas in Bardstown and was enrolled at Western Kentucky University for fall of 2016. She was currently taking online classes at WKU. She was a member of the Catholic faith.
She was preceded in death by her paternal grandmother, Judy Martin.
She is survived by her parents, Kevin and Susie Martin; two brothers, Truston (Savannah) Martin and Kevin (Roxxy Wygal), both of Boston; one nephew, Kaden Martin of Bardstown; her maternal grandparents, Robert Earl “Bobby” Cecil and Mary Cecil of Bardstown; her paternal grandfather, Dwight Martin of Taylorsville; and several aunts, uncles, and cousins.
The funeral is 2 p.m. Sunday, Sept. 13, 2015, at Thomas Nelson High School, with burial in the Bardstown Cemetery. The Rev. Ben Brown will officiate.
Visitation is 3-8 p.m. Saturday, Sept. 12, 2015, and 11 a.m.-2 p.m. Sunday at Thomas Nelson High School.
Memorial donations may go to donor’s favorite charity.
