Obituary: Paul Martin Spalding, 46, Lebanon
Paul Martin Spalding, 46, of Lebanon, died Saturday, Sept. 12, 2015, at the Grant Medical Center in Columbus, Ohio. He was born May 2, 1969, in Lebanon. He was an instructor at the Marion County Area Technology Center.
He was preceded in death by his brother, William Arthur Spalding.
Survivors include his parents, Richard H. “Bob”, Jr. and Catherine Imogene Hill Spalding; his fiancée, Gina Kirkland of Lebanon; one daughter, Sarah Jo Spalding of Bardstown; sons of his heart, Dalton and Donovan Kirkland of Lebanon; four sisters, Phyllis (Ken) Barnett of Louisville, Debbie (Doug) Hamilton of Springfield, Kaye Peterson of Lebanon and Fran (Terry) Smith of Loretto; two brothers, Joe H. (Joyce) Spalding and Mike (Trena) Spalding, both of Lebanon; and several nieces and nephews.
Cremation has been chosen. A memorial service is 8 p.m. Tuesday, Sept. 15, 2015, at the Bosley Funeral Home in Lebanon officiated by Deacon Dennis May.
Visitation is 4-8 p.m. Tuesday at the funeral home.
In lieu of flowers, expressions of sympathy may take the form of contributions to an educational trust fund established for his daughter, Sarah Jo Spalding.
The Bosley Funeral Home in Lebanon is in charge of the arrangements.
