Motorcyclist injured after laying bike down Tuesday on Solitude Rd.

Wednesday, Sept. 23, 2015, 6:20 p.m. — A 19-year-old male motorcycle rider was injured Tuesday afternoon in a single-vehicle crash on KY 480, Solitude Road in Nelson County. At 5:25 p.m., Nelson County EMS and the Nelson County Sheriff’s Office responded for the injury accident on KY480 about a half-mile from its intersection with US31E, Louisville Road. Witnesses told first-responders that the motorcyclist was driving around a curve a high rate of speed and laid the bike down. EMS transported the victim to Flaget Memorial Hospital complaining of a headache and road rash on both arms.
