Thursday, Sept. 24, 2015 — The Bardstown City Council met Tuesday, Sept. 22, 2015, with a full agenda that included proposed changes to the solid waste ordinance relating to bulky item pickup; final approve of amended zoning regulations; final approval of two rezonings; approval of a tax moratorium on the new owners of 103 W. Stephen Foster, known as the Oakley Building; final approve of removing the cap from the city’s occupational tax; turned away an opportunity to raise the occupational tax rate; honored the Rev. Bill Hammer for his years of service at the Basilica of St. Joseph Proto-Cathedral; and recognized Kyle Snow for completion of his Eagle Scout project, which updated the fence at the city’s Pioneer Cemetery.
