Mayor Royalty: Officer Nick Houck’s suspension is now without pay

Thursday, Sept. 24, 2015, 1:30 p.m. — Bardstown Mayor John Royalty announced during the noon hour Thursday that suspended Bardstown Police Office Nick Houck was now suspended without pay.
Police Chief Rick McCubbin suspended Houck two weeks ago with pay.
No reason has yet been given by the mayor or police chief for Houck’s suspension.
Houck is the brother of Brooks Houck, the boyfriend of Crystal Rogers, the Bardstown woman who has been missing Friday, July 3, 2015. Brooks Houck was the last person who saw Rogers, whose disabled 2007 Chevrolet was found Sunday, July 5, 2015, abandoned on the Bluegrass Parkway.
Roger’s car contained her keys, cell phone and personal belongings. She is described as 35 years old, 5-foot-9 in height, 150 lbs with blonde shoulder-length hair.
