Obituary: Roy H. Grant, 77, Cox’s Creek

Roy H. Grant, 77, of Cox’s Creek, died Wednesday, Sept. 23, 2015, at Kindred Hospital in Louisville. He was born on May 27, 1938, in Plymouth, Ind. to the late Gether “Tiny” and Theda Fusch Grant. He was former President of Tubular Engineering and Sales and was a member of Southeast funeral_doveChristian Church.

He was preceded in death by his wife, Barbara Grant.

He is survived by one daughter, Beverly (Edward, Jr.) Albies of Franklin Lakes, N.J.; one son, Kevin (Tracy) Grant of Cox’s Creek; one sister, Betty (Robert) Kuhn of Plymouth, Ind.; and five grandchildren, Maggie Albies, Tyler Albies, Travis Albies, Parker Grant and Alana McGowan.

Visitation and committal services are noon Monday, Sept. 28, 2015, at the North Chapel at Elm Ridge Memorial in Muncie, Ind.

Local visitation is 1-3 p.m. Sunday, Sept. 27, 2015, at the Houghlin-Greenwell Funeral Home, 1475 New Shepherdsville Road, Bardstown.

The family has requested that memorial contributions go to Autism Speaks, 1060 State Road 2nd Floor, Princeton, NJ, 08540.

The Houghlin-Greenwell Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
