Firefighters respond Sunday for active alarm on Marvin Downs

Monday, Sept. 28, 2015, 11 a.m. — The Bardstown Fire Department responded late Sunday night for an active fire alarm at a residence in the 100 block of Marvin Downs Lane. Firefighters responded to the call at about 11:45 p.m. The residence was empty and firefighter could not gain access. Neighbors said crews had been in recently cleaning the residence. After determining there was no fire, firefighters cleared the scene at about 12:10 a.m.
