Obituary: John Harrison Marshall, 57, Bardstown

John Harrison Marshall, 57, of Bardstown, died Sunday, Sept. 27, 2015. He was a native of Bardstown and a retired veteran of the United States Navy.

He was preceded in death by his father, Ardith Marshall, Sr.; and one brother, Ardith Marshall, Jr.

He is survived by his wife, Bonnie Clark Marshall; one daughter, Tracy DeWitt; one son, John H. Marshall, Jr.; his mother, Hattie Hardin Marshall; three sisters, Brenda Goodpaster, Lorene Marshall, and Laura Luckett; three brothers, Ossie A. Marshall, Christopher E. Marshall and Travis Marshall; and his beloved dog, Razeberry.

The funeral is 11 a.m. Wednesday, Sept. 30, 2015, at the Joseph L. Greenwell Funeral Home in New Haven with burial to follow in the Marshall Cemetery with Bro. Bruce Nichols officiating.

Visitation is 4-8 p.m. Tuesday, Sept. 29, 2015, at the funeral home.

The Joseph L. Greenwell Funeral Home in New Haven is in charge of arrangements.
