JAMES STEELE LEE

James Steele Lee, 78, of Raywick, died Tuesday, Sept. 29, 2015, at home surrounded by his family. He was born April 23, 1937, in St. Joe to the late James Hubert and Elizabeth Jeanette Mattingly Lee. He was a retired employee of General Electric and a member of St. Francis Xavier Catholic Church.

Survivors include his wife of 56 years, Delores Jean Morris Lee; three daughters, Jeanette Stearman (Paul) of Summersville, Linda Lee Hardin of Lebanon and Susan Cambron (Scott) of St. Mary’s; four sons, Dennis Lee (Ruth) and Tommy Lee (Ann), both of Lebanon, Jerry Lee of Raywick and Kevin Lee (Renee) of Jessietown; one sister, Judy Tannehill of Bardstown; one brother, Terry Lee (Marcelene) of Saint Joe; and 19 grandchildren,Chris Lee, Rochelle Lee, Morgan Lee, Kaitlin Lee, Cody Goff, Dalton Stearman, Zack Goff, Kylee Hardin, Kara Hardin, Peyton Cambron ,Charlee Cambron, Jordan Durbin, Kendra Norris, Reanne Norris, Nikki Wheatley , Tomas Gilmore, Jennifer Reynolds, Jessica Veatch and Daniel Stearman.

The Mass of Christian Burial is 11 a.m. Saturday, October 3, 2015 at Saint Francis Xavier Catholic Church, 108 Main Street, Raywick. Burial is in the church cemetery. The Rev. James W. Graf will officiate.

Visitation is 3-8 p.m. Friday, Oct. 2, 2015, at the Mattingly Funeral Home, 195 Holy Cross Road, Loretto with a prayer service at 7 p.m. by the Rev. Deacon Dennis May.

Memorials may go to Masses or the American Cancer Society, 701 W. Muhammad Ali Blvd, Louisville, KY 40203, or Hosparus Green River, PO Box 4134, Campbellsville, KY 42718.

Pallbearers are his sons and Dalton Stearman, Chris Lee, Cody Goff, Scott Cambron and Paul Stearman. Honorary pallbearers are his grandchildren.

The Mattingly Funeral Home in Loretto is in charge of the arrangements.
