Friday, Oct. 2, 2015 — The 2015 Hahn-White family reunion was held Sunday, Sept. 20, 2015, in the Fellowship Hall of The First Cedar Creek Baptist Church in Bardstown.

A shared meal began at 1:30 p.m. after the church’s morning worship service. Following the meal was a time to remember family members who in the past year were married, had children, were away from home due to missionary and military endeavors, as well as those who died since the 2014 reunion.

Lucille White Keeling, 94, was the oldest lady family member present as well as the one with the most family members present – 20. The oldest gentleman family member present was Lucille’s cousin, William Milton Holt, 83, of Chaplin (his mother was Margie Hahn Holt). The youngest girl family member present was four-year-old Brielle Brown, and the youngest boy family member present was her brother, eight-month-old Bentley Brown. They are the children of Tanya and Justin Brown and the great-grandchildren of Wilbert White (deceased).

Lucille’s only great-great-grandchild, Haven Tull, 3, of Collierville, Tenn., was one of three first-timers at the reunion.

A special ‘thank you’ was given to Linda Keeling for planning and setting up for the occasion.

Lucille had crocheted a bookmark-size cross for each person attending, and at her request, the group sang “Must Jesus Bear the Cross Alone.” Other activities of the day included perusing Hahn-White family memorabilia, glancing at a continuous slideshow of old and new family photos, updating family information, kids bouncing in an inflatable house, and sitting for a group photo.

The 2016 Hahn-White Family Reunion will be held September 18, 2016 – the third Sunday in September.
