Nelson County EMS responds for report of suicidal teenager

emslogoSaturday, Oct. 3, 2015, 1:30 a.m. — Nelson County EMS and Bardstown Police responded early Saturday morning to the Circle K, 1085 Bloomfield Road, for a teenager who said she had taken numerous doses of over the counter medicines in order to harm herself. EMS and police were dispatched at 12:38 a.m. for the apparent overdose. EMS transported a 16-year-old girl to Flaget Memorial Hospital for evaluation and treatment.
