One injured in two-vehicle crash Sunday at Third & Flamingo

Sunday, Oct. 4, 2015, 2 p.m. — Nelson County EMS, Bardstown Police and the Bardstown Fire Department responded early Sunday afternoon for an injury accident at the intersection of North Third Street and Flamingo Drive involving a four-door Oldsmobile and a pickup truck. Police shut down the southbound lanes of Louisville Road for a time while the accident was being cleaned up. The 49-year-old female driver of one of the vehicles was transported to Flaget Memorial Hospital complaining of neck, side and back pain. Two other individuals refused transport by EMS.
