Obituary: Mary Rita Boone O’Bryan, 88, Bardstown

Mary Rita Boone O’Bryan, 88, of Bardstown, died Monday, Oct. 5, 2015, at her home. She was a retired employee of Jewish Hospital where she worked as a housekeeper.

She was preceded in death by three brothers, Don Boone, Jack Boone and Ray Boone.

She is survived by one daughter, Deanna Vespie; two sons, Paul S. “Wart” (Vanessa) O’Bryan and Joseph A. O’Bryan; one sister, Lula Jackson; two brothers, Shelby “Shot” Boone and Jerry Boone; nine grandchildren; 15 great-grandchildren; and five great-great-grandchildren.

The funeral Mass is 10 a.m. Thursday, Oct. 8, 2015, at St. Catherine Catholic Church in New Haven with burial in the church cemetery.

Visitation is 3-8 p.m. Wednesday, Oct. 7, 2015, at the Joseph L. Greenwell Funeral Home in New Haven.

Memorial contributions are suggested to go to St. Catherine School.
