Obituary: Matthew Curry, 25, Bardstown

MATTHEW CURRY

Matthew Curry, 25, of Bardstown, died Saturday, Oct. 10, 2015. He was born Aug. 15, 1990, in Louisville. He was employed at Gordon Food Service. He was an avid hunter, golfer, loved his job, his son and all his family and friends. He was baptized at Peters Creek Missionary Baptist Church.

He was preceded in death by his grandfather, Essie Carter; and his grandmother, Betty Carter.

He is survived by his wife, Ashley Curry of Bardstown; one son, Jordan Curry; his mother, Mary Carter; his father, Paul Curry; one sister, Brianna Vaughn of Louisville; three brothers, Timothy Curry (Kymberlee), Nathan Curry (Lauren), Billy Vaughn Jr. (Amanda), all of Louisville; his mother and father-in-law, Doug and Wanda Ward of Bardstown; one brother-in-law, Chad Ward (Kendrea) of Cox’s Creek; four nephews; two nieces; and several aunts, uncles and cousins.

The funeral is 11 a.m. Tuesday, Oct. 13, 2015, at Barlow Funeral Home with Bro. Tim Lucas officiating.

Visitation is 2-8 p.m. Monday, Oct. 12, 2015, and 8-11 a.m. Tuesday, Oct. 13, 2015, at Barlow Funeral Home.

Barlow Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
