Obituary: Sister Sandy Ardoyno, SL, 72, Nerinx

Sister Sandy Ardoyno, SL, 72, of Nerinx, died Monday, Oct. 5, 2015, at the Loretto Motherhouse Infirmary. She was born Aug. 27, 1943, in Mobile, Ala. to the late Sidney B. and Sally Leech Ardoyno. She entered religious life in 1961 and received her final vows June 8, 1969. She attended A. B. Webster College in Webster Groves, Mo. and Tulane University in New Orleans. She was a former art teacher with assignments in Missouri, Alabama and Louisiana. She moved to the Loretto Motherhouse in 2012.

Cremation was chosen. A Memorial Mass is 10 a.m. Saturday, Oct. 24, 2015, at the Loretto Motherhouse Church.
