E’town motorcyclist injured after crash on Old Bloomfield Rd.

Friday, Oct. 23, 2015, 9 p.m. — An Elizabethtown man was injured Friday afternoon when he crested a hill on Old Bloomfield Road and found traffic 
in front of him stopped for a school bus.
Nelson County EMS and the Nelson County Sheriff’s Office were dispatched the accident at about 4:16 p.m. Police say Albin R. Signorino, 58 of Elizabethtown was operating his 2007 Harley Davidson motorcycle eastbound on Old Bloomfield Road when he crested a hill and found traffic stopped behind a school bus. Signorino attempted to stop to avoid a collision but lost control of his motorcycle and it overturned. Signorino was ejected and landed on the roadway.
Signorino was transported by Nelson County EMS to Flaget Memorial Hospital and later flown to University Hospital with head injuries.
