Six taken to hospital after two-vehicle accident at Chambers & KY245

Saturday, Oct. 24, 2015, 8:30 p.m. — Six people were taken to Flaget Memorial Hospital Saturday night after a two-vehicle crash at the intersection of West John Rowan and Chambers Blvd.
Nelson County EMS, the Bardstown Fire Department and city police were dispatched at 6:58 p.m. for the injury accident involving a Ford van and a white Dodge Charger.
Two EMS ambulances transported six people: a 35-year-old male passenger complaining of rib and neck pain; an 11-year-old female with right-side pain, a 10-year-old with complaints of knee pain, a three-year-old, a 20-month-old and five-month old who were involved in the crash but had no apparent injuries on the scene.
Bardstown Police conducted field sobriety tests of one of the drivers involved in the crash, and he was arrested and lodged in the Nelson County Jail.
The Bardstown Police Department is investigating the accident.
