New Haven Elementary student hurt after fall off monkey bars

Monday, May 9, 2011, 2:41 p.m — A 10-year-old male student at New Haven Elementary School was injured Monday after reportedly falling off the monkey bars. Nelson Counjty EMS was called to the school, 489 High St., about 2:40 p.m. The student suffered minor cuts, complained of head and neck pain, and initially told school staff he had blurry vision. The youth was transported to Flaget Memorial Hospital for treatment.
