Obituary: Mary Lou Murphy Spalding, 62, Lebanon
Mary Lou Murphy Spalding, 62, of Lebanon, died Monday, Nov. 2, 2015, at Jewish Hospital in Louisville. She was born Aug. 4, 1953, in Lebanon. She was a retired employee of Fruit of the Loom and was a member of Holy Name of Mary Catholic Church.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Frank and Lula Murphy; her stepmother, Mildred Murphy, Two Brothers: Joe Paul and Eddie Murphy
Survivors include her husband of 45 years, Leonard Spalding of Lebanon; one daughter, Tina (Phillip) Craig of Lebanon; one son, Billy (Renee) Spalding of Calvary; eight sisters, Rita (Nicky) Thomas of Calvary, Glenda (Carl) Spalding of Lebanon, Myrtle Garrett of Lebanon, Gloria (Joe) Borders of Elizabethtown, Lucy (Kenneth) Godbey of Perryville, Christine (Mike) Sisk of Estillfork, Ala., Twila (Joey) Sallee of Finley, and Virgie (Jay) Johnson of Danville; seven brothers, Louis (Dianna) Murphy of Rosedale, Ind., Robert (Mary) Murphy of Lebanon, George (Barbara) Murphy of Campbellsville, Lawrence Murphy of Louisville, Allen Murphy of Calvary, Roland (Lois) Murphy of Standford and Mike (Kathy) Shannon of Lebanon; and five grandchildren, Brooke Humes, Keaton Spalding, Noah Spalding, Kinley Craig, Shelby Craig.
The Mass of Christian Burial is 11 a.m. Thursday, Nov. 5, 2015, at Holy Name of Mary Catholic Church with burail in the church cemetery.
Visitation is 3-8 p.m. Wednesday, Nov. 4, 2015, at Bosley Funeral Home. A prayer service is 7 p.m. Wednesday with Deacon Joe Dant.
The Bosley Funeral Home in Lebanon is in charge of the arrangements.
