St. Monica to host 29th African American history celebration Sunday

Monday, Nov. 2, 2015 — St. Monica Catholic Church will host the 29th Annual African American Catholic History Celebration at 4 p.m. Sunday, Nov. 8.

The event is sponsored by the Archdiocese of Louisville’s Office of Multicultural Ministry and features the theme “Chosen by God”. The guest speaker will be Archbishop Joseph E. Kurtz, D.D. and the Office of Multicultural Ministry Archdiocesan Gospel Choir will also be part of the celebration.
