EMS responds after woman’s car crashes into retail business

Wednesday, Nov. 4, 2015, 11:55 p.m. — A 72-year-old woman was taken to the hospital Wednesday afternoon after she developed chest pains after crashing her car into a wall at Michel Tires Plus, 96 West John Rowan.
Bardstown Police, Bardstown Fire and Nelson County EMS responded to the call at about 1:55 p.m. after the woman drove into the building from the Burger King side of the parking lot. The Hyundai passenger car the woman was driving hit the wall and damaged the electrical service. A City of Bardstown utility representative was called to the scene. The woman was taken to Flaget Memorial Hospital for evaluation and treatment.
