Obituary: Melissa Dawn Griggs Kidwell, 28, Leitchfield
Melissa Dawn Griggs Kidwell, 28, of Leitchfield, died Wednesday, Nov. 4, 2015, at Hardin Memorial Hospital in Elizabethtown. She was a homemaker and mother of six who deeply loved her family. She was born June 13, 1982, the daughter of the late Jeff Trujello and Sharon Pettit 
Trujello Griggs. She was a member of McGrew Memorial General Baptist Church in Leitchfield.
She was also preceded in death by her maternal grandparents, Jim and Emaline Back Pettit; and one cousin, Kimberly Jo Estell.
Survivors include her husband, Johnny Lee Kidwell of Leitchfield; two daughters, Liberty Sylvanna Kidwell and Joey Kadence Kidwell, both of Leitchfield; four sons, Tristan Lee Kidwell, Karson Eli Kidwell, James Landon Kidwell and Skylar Benton Kidwell, all of Leitchfield; three sisters, Rebecca McGyre and Marilyn Peterson, both of Versailles, Ind., and Julie Brown of Pratville, Ill.; two brothers, Patrick Trujello of Leitchfield and Michael Nelson of Versailles, Ind.; and several brothers and sisters-in-law, aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.
The funeral is 1 p.m. Saturday, Nov. 7, 2015, at the William R. Rust Funeral Home Chapel, 167 North Main St. in New Haven with the Rev. Charles E. Smith, pastor of McGrew Memorial General Baptist Church officiating. Burial is in the Marshall Family cemetery in New Haven.
Visitation is 3-8 p.m. Friday, Nov. 6, 2015 and 10 a.m.-1 p.m. Saturday at the funeral home.
The William R. Rust Funeral Home in New Haven is in charge of the arrangements.
