Former Talbott Tavern employee indicted for stealing from customers

Thursday, Nov. 5, 2015, 11:59 a.m. — A former employee of The Old Talbott Tavern, 107 W. Stephen Foster Ave., was indicted Wednesday for stealing from the restaurant, bar, and bed-and-breakfast’s customers.
Tiffany G. Thompson, 29, of Bardstown, was indicted on 27 counts of first-degree unlawful access to a computer and theft by unlawful taking or disposition under $500.
According to the indictment, Thompson allegedly added charges to customers’ bills when they paid with a debit or credit card. According to Bardstown Police Detective Chris Smith, the business reimbursed the victims and is pursuing charges against Thompson.
She will be arraigned in Nelson Circuit Court on Thursday, Nov. 19th.
