Obituary: Helena Hanley Lewis, 71, Bardstown

HELENA HANEY LEWIS

Helena Hanley Lewis, 71, of Bardstown, died Thursday, Nov. 5, 2015, at Life Care Center of Bardstown. She was born Jan. 10, 1944. in Hawesville. She was a homemaker and a member of Second Methodist Church of Hawesville.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Jesse C. Lewis; her parents, Author and Hallie Mae Hanley; one sister, Lena Hanley; and four brothers, John Hanley, Ordell Hanley, Eugene Hanley, and William Hanley.

She is survived by three sons John William Hanley of Bardstown and Hubert Hanley and Jesse Lewis Jr., both of Lexington; one sister, Juanita Bell; four grandchildren; three great-grandchildren; and a host of nieces and nephews.

Visitation is 11 a.m.- 1 p.m. Tuesday, Nov. 10, 2015, at Barlow Funeral Home Burial is in the Lebanon National Cemetery with the Rev. Calvin Holloway will officiating.

Barlow Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
