Obituary: Robert Earl Dishon, Sr., 71, Clermont
Robert Earl Dishon, Sr., 71, of Clermont, died Sunday, Nov. 8, 2015, at Jewish Hospital in Louisville. He was a member of Calvary Missionary Baptist Church.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Oscar and Lucy Dishon; two children, Katherine Mae Simpson and Joseph Lee Dishon; five sisters, Ethel Edmonds, Rosie Sharp, Mattie McCubbins, Dolly Ann Dishon and Hava Hazelwood; and three brothers, Oscar Dishon, Jr., John W. Dishon, Kenneth Dishon.
He is survived by his wife, Connie Dishon; two sons, Robert “Junior” (Terri) Dishon, Jr. of Boston and Terrell Bryant (Christina) of Clermont; six grandchildren Robert Dishon III (Denise), Doris Jean Dishon, Brent Anthony Dishon, J.W. Simpson, Cheyenne Bryant and Dakota Bryant; and two great-grandchildren, Isaac Tucker Dishon and Case Robert Dishon.
The funeral is 11 a.m. Saturday, Nov. 14, 2015, at the Maraman-Billings Funeral Home in Shepherdsville with the Rev. James Shepherd and the Rev. Eric Lewis officiating. Burial is in the Vine Hill Cemetery.
Visitation is 6-8 p.m. Thursday, Nov. 12, 2015, and 10 a.m.-8 p.m. Friday, Nov. 13, 2015, and 9-11 a.m. Saturday at the funeral home
The Maraman-Billings Funeral Home in Shepherdsville is in charge of the arrangements.
