Obituary: John ‘Johnny’ Parsons, 69, of Bardstown
JOHN “JOHNNY” PARSONS
John “Johnny” Parsons, 69, of Bardstown, died Thursday, Nov. 19, 2015, at Life Care Center of Bardstown. He was born August 8, 1946, in Louisville. He was retired from Masonry Construction Company.
He was preceded in death by his father, John L. Parsons Sr.; his mother, Anna Louise Lee; one sister, Brenda Faye McCarver; one brother, James Louis Parsons.
He is survived by his wife, Lisa Ann Parsons of Bardstown; four daughters, Amanda Jo Kinder of Shepherdsville, Savannah Marie Parsons of Bardstown, JaCynthia M. Mackin of Samuels, and Patty Gooch of Glasgow; three sons, Timothy Lee Parsons of Lexington, Jamie Lee Parsons of Covington, and Sargent Joseph Cody Mackin of Samuels; five sisters, Judith Ann Parsons and Donna Parsons Smith, both of Hamilton, Ohio, Carolyn Key, and Donna (Paul) Dennis, both of Mount Washington, and Linda Grooms of Louisville; two brothers, Larry Parsons of Hamilton, Ohio, and Donald Miller of Mount Washington; one brother-in-law, Stephen Greenwell of Bardstown; one special niece, Kayla Greenwell of Bardstown; and six grandchildren.
The funeral is 8 p.m. Saturday, Nov. 21, 2015, at Barlow Funeral Home with cremation to follow.
Visitation is 2-8 p.m. Saturday, Nov. 21, 2015, at the funeral home.
Memorial contributions may go toward the service of John Parsons.
Barlow Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
