Four injured in Howardstown Road crash Thursday night

Friday, Nov. 27, 2015, 12:30 a.m. — Four people were injured Thursday night in a motor vehicle crash in the 2500 block of Howardstown Road south of New Haven. emslogoNelson County EMS, Rolling Fork Fire and police were dispatched at 10:12 p.m. for a crash with possible entrapment of two of the victims. Two of the crash victims were transported from the scene by EMS directly to University Hospital in Louisville for evaluation and treatment. A 17-year-old boy and a 16-year-old girl were transported by a second ambulance to Flaget Memorial Hospital in Bardstown for treatment of their injuries. At least one of the injured teens was later transferred to Kosair Children’s Hospital in Louisville. First-responders were on the scene for more than an hour.
