Two people injured in Friday evening crash on Susannah Avenue

Friday, Nov. 27, 2015, 9 p.m. — Two people were injured in a motor vehicle crash in the 100 block of Susannah Avenue Friday evening. Bardstown Police and Nelson County EMS responded to the scene at 6:41 p.m. The 54-year-old man driving the vehicle told first-responders he blacked out while driving. His passenger, a 48-year-old woman, said when the man blacked out, he accelerated and drove the vehicle into mail boxes before it crashed. The woman suffered a possible broken ankle. She and the man were transported by EMS to Flaget Memorial Hospital.
