Bardstown Internet Service remains offline after fiber cable cut

Sunday, Nov. 29, 2015, 12:03 a.m. — After more than 33 hours, an unknown number of Bardstown Internet Service (BISI) customers remain offline and unable to access their email accounts due to what a recorded message said was a cut in a fiber optic line in the AT&T backbone. The outage began sometime after 3 p.m. Friday.

The Bardstown Internet Service Inc. website has also been down as a result of the outage.
