Bardstown firefighters respond Sunday for burning trash barrel

Monday, Nov. 30, 2015, 8 a.m. — The Bardstown Fire Department responded Sunday evening for a reported illegal burn at a home on Bartley Avenue. Firefighters were dispatched to a home in the 800 block of Bartley Avenue at 6:17 p.m. for trash burning in a barrel behind the home. Firefighters advised the resident of the city’s ban on burning garbage.
