Obituary: William Paul ‘Billy’ Bowman, 57, Lebanon Junction
William Paul “Billy” Bowman, 57, of Lebanon Junction, died Wednesday, Dec. 2, 2015, at his home. He was a member of the Golden Boys Motorcycle Club. He retired from Johnson Controls and was a former custodian for Bullitt Central High School. He was a member of Gloryland Harvest Church. He loved to fish, ride his motorcycle, watch the UK Wildcats and telling his stories.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Alton Paul and Henrietta Raley Bowman and a sister, Mary Troutman.
He is survived by his wife, Tammy Vittitoe Bowman; two daughters, April Bowman Vittitoe and Noel Gray (James); five sisters, Pauletta Hatfield, Clara Masden (Steven), Theresa Masden (Greg), Roberta Jackson (Ricky) and Shirley Wachowski (Kevin); one brother Charlie Bowman (Patty); his mother-in-law, Elizabeth House; two sister-in-law, Jan Gould (Terry) and Marcie Weihe (Larry); one brother-in-law, Tony Troutman; two grandchildren, Celena Vittitoe and Logan Vittitoe; and many other family members and friends, who all loved him.
The funeral is 2 p.m. Saturday, Dec. 5, 2015, at the Kappel Funeral Home in Lebanon Junction with Pastor Jacob Pearman officiating.
Visitation is 1-8 p.m. Friday, Dec. 4, 2015, and after 9 a.m. Saturday at the funeral home.
The Kappel Funeral Home in Lebanon Junction is in charge of the arrangements.
