Obituary: James Ronald ‘Jimmy’ Bryan, 86, New Haven

James Ronald “Jimmy” Bryan, 86, of New Haven, died Monday, Dec. 7, 2015, at his home. He was a retired bus driver and custodian for the Nelson County Board of Education, a U.S. Army veteran and a member of St. Catherine Catholic Church in New Haven.

He is survived by his loving wife, Mary “Tootie” Gant Bryan; one daughter, Connie Mouser (Fred); four grandchildren, Shannon Thompson (Alan), Bryan (Ashleigh) and Kelly (Holly) Mouser, and Alicia Greenwell (John); and great-grandchildren, Hannah Thompson, Grace Thompson, Hayley Mouser, Caleb Mouser, Allie Greenwell and Caroline Greenwell.

The Funeral Mass is 10 a.m. Friday, Dec. 11, 2015, at St. Catherine Catholic Church with burial in the church cemetery.

Visitation is 2-8 p.m. Thursday, Dec. 10, 2015, and after 8 a.m. Friday at the Joseph L. Greenwell Funeral Home, New Haven. A prayer service is 5 p.m. Thursday at the funeral home.

Memorial contributions may go to the St. Catherine School.

The Joseph L. Greenwell Funeral Home in New Haven is in charge of the arrangements.
